Sample outstanding vegan chili recipes from some of the Twin Cities’ best chefs at our 13th Annual Vegan Chili Cook-Off. Tickets are $5 in advance, $10 at the door, and free for students.
Bring your friends and your appetite! Everyone is welcome, and it’s a great way to introduce omnivores to delicious vegan food! The chili goes fast, so be sure to arrive right at 6 for the best selection. You will have a chance to rate the samples and help us crown the winner of the coveted Chicken Trophy for the best vegan chili!
This year, the event will be held on February 3rd in the spacious great hall of the University of Minnesota Student Union. The hall is ADA accessible, and there is ample paid parking in the East River Road Garage.
Think you have what it takes to compete in the cook-off? This year we are only accepting professional restaurateur entrants. There will be cool prizes (including cash!) for the winner. Check out our registration page for more contestant details and to sign up.
How does scoring work? Attendees will rate each chili using their phones or our tablets. We’ll announce the winner between 8 and 8:30pm.
Volunteers are critical to the event’s success—sign-up here and score a free ticket.
