High School and College Outreach
Our outreach is conducted to reach as many people as we can in order to find those who may be most receptive to hearing our message. Our experience shows that younger people are more likely to change their consumption habits than the greater public. Therefore, a large part of our outreach and education efforts are focused on high school- and college-age students.
Assisting Student Animal Advocacy Organizations
Starting an animal advocacy student group at a high school or college can be easy, fun, and effective. Such groups can contribute much in terms of raising awareness on animal issues, and can help create a community of fellow student supporters.
Compassionate Action for Animals can help students
every step of the way by providing:
- Free resources and literature
- Advice on starting a group, conducting campaigns, hosting events, etc.
- Speakers who can give presentations on animal and vegetarian issues
If you are a student interested in starting a group, send us an e-mail at info@ExploreVeg.org to find ways in which CAA can work with you.
Leafleting at Schools
To inform students on factory farming and vegetarianism, as well as connect with potential activists, CAA regularly passes out tens of thousands of leaflets at colleges across the Twin Cities and Minnesota each year.
