Documentaries and Movies

As film is such a powerful tool, we try to utilize it at much as possible. One of the ways we do this is through regular showings of documentaries. This provides views an opportunity to discover at more depth the complex lives of other animals or the wretched conditions of factory farms.

Since its release in spring of 2004, we have been showing the powerful and compelling movie Peaceable Kingdom to both large and small audiences, our largest showing being to over 170 people in Coffman Theater in late September 2004. After watching this movie, many in the audience were moved to pledge to become vegetarian and vegan.
