Restaurant Outreach
In just the last decade demand for vegetarian and vegan dining has skyrocketed.
CAA's restaurant outreach campaign seeks to
facilitate this trend by working with restaurants to expand their
animal-free options, improve labels for existing options, and alter
current options (by "veganizing" them, or adding meat/dairy/egg
alternatives).
The campaign has several benefits such as making dining more convenient for vegetarians as well as making veg options more visible to the general public and those interested in going veg. This campaign also works with other food service-related industries like convenient stores, vending machine companies, and caterers.

-

- Camdi - Our restaurant liaisons encouraged them to include a vegan menu.
- Evergreen - Helped them to expand their vegan options.
Get Involved
Working with CAA on the restaurant outreach campaign is a great way to
get involved. You are helping local restaurants reach a more diverse
clientele while making vegan and vegetarian dining options more
available. Ways to help out with this campaign include everything from
doing research to meeting with restaurant managers.
