A Joint Thanksgiving Celebration by EarthSave and CAA!

The Turkey Free Thanksgiving Potluck took place on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Matthew's Community Park. It was CAA's sixth annual potluck and, for the first time, was jointly hosted with EarthSave, a local vegetarian advocacy organization.

Nearly 200 people came and enjoyed many vegan Thanksgiving favorites such as Tofurkey, sweet potatoes, various casseroles, pies and baked goods. Attendees also enjoyed great music by Quiet Wyatt.

This event brought together like-minded people to break bread and savor a delicious, varied, plant-based, ecological Thanksgiving community feast.
