Adopt a Vegetarian Starter Kit Stand

One of the most effective ways to promote vegetarianism is to provide people with information on where their food comes from. And what more convenient way to do this than providing them with a Vegetarian Starter Kit that they can pick up at their own leisure? For over two years now, CAA has been able to get out tens of thousands of these kits with our strategically placed stands throughout the Twin Cities.

If you want an easy and effective way to help the animals, please consider adopting a stand in your neighborhood. All it requires is periodically refilling the stand. For more information and to get started, email Kathryn at kathryn@ExploreVeg.org today!

You can also consider stocking pamphlets without a stand in your neighborhood's libraries, record shops, grocery stores, gyms, and more.

Article: Vegetarian Dining Times 3

Meat-free Twin Cities dining for busy, social and/or upscale foodies.

By Jaime Chismar, Alexis McKinnis, Aimee Blanchette printed as cover-story for Vita.MN Magazine
August 9, 2007

The Twin Cities dining scene is a gold mine for vegetarians - you just have to know where to look. But man and woman cannot live on sliced tofu cubes and veggie burgers alone; you need options for any number of life situations. Jaime Chismar stakes out likely and unlikely spots to grab a quick meat-free bite when you're on the go. Alexis McKinnis points out that vegetarian cuisine and fine-dining restaurants need not be mutually exclusive. And Aimee Blanchette solves the riddle of where to go herbivorous with large groups or families. Now you too can be veggie and versatile.

Read each review here.

Take a moment to thank Vita.MN for making this their cover story!
