Wendy's Cruelty: Take Action
Wendy's attitude toward animal welfare is frosty. After months of discussions with animal protection organizations, the cold-hearted company is still lagging behind competitor Burger King when it comes to reducing cruelty to egg-laying hens.
In March, Burger King began phasing in the use of cage-free eggs. While cage-free eggs are not cruelty-free, they are a significant welfare improvement ensuring that, at a minimum, hens can walk and stretch their wings. Yet all of the eggs that Wendy's uses come from birds crammed in cages so tiny they can barely move.
Learn more about the campaign, and then call and e-mail Wendy's to express your concerns.
