Wednesday (and Saturday): Peaceable Kingdom Film Showing
As part of Veg Week, we will be showing the life-changing documentary Peaceable Kingdom, followed by free snacks and a question and answer session. (Note: We will be showing this film twice during Veg Week)
Peaceable Kingdom, starring our Veg Week Kick-off speaker Gene Baur, takes a mind-opening journey to the front lines of an unseen national drama. Stories of farmers questioning the fundamental assumptions behind their way of life reveals a riveting portrait of human and animal lives caught in an out-of-control industrial machine. Much more than an exposé, the film is an inspiring story of personal redemption, compassion, healing and hope.
"Peaceable Kingdom is a masterpiece," says Dr. Jane Goodall. "I hope it inspires growing numbers of people to support this desperately important cause."

We'll even be raffling off prizes for those who take the Veg Pledge!
