Ali Glad - Dine-Out Coordinator
Ali has been volunteering with CAA since the summer of 2010. She has helped organize VegMonth events, and taught a raw foods cooking class. Ali has been a raw food chef for 5 years. Aside from cooking, Ali has worked on many organic farms such as Orcas Island. Ali recently completed an internship at the Orland, CA Farm Sanctuary.
Dee Hanson - Vegan After Dark Co-Coordinator
Prior to moving to Minnesota, Dee lived on the East Coast. While there, she was active in volunteering for events such as the Thanks Living festival in New York. After moving to Minnesota, Dee found CAA via the social networking site Meetup.com. As she began attending events, Dee wanted to become more active with planning and organizing. She connected with CAA volunteer Jin Dalsin and now the two are coordinating the Vegan After Dark events. When Dee isn't volunteering, she teaches and on her spare time she enjoys eating great vegan food, socializing, yoga, and being out in nature.
Kelly Johnson - Cooking Class Coordinator
Kelly has been coordinating cooking classes since August, 2010. She organized two great classes in October and plans on many more classes to come. She has been moving towards a vegan diet over the past few years after reading learning more about factory farming and its impact on animals, the environment, and human health. Her goal through CAA is to help educate others about these issues and how easy it is to eat a delicious vegan diet.
