CAA Wins an Award!

CAA's chapter at the University of Minnesota recently won an award at the Tony Diggs Excellence Awards Ceremony last week, which recognized outstanding student group achievements.

CAA received the award in the category of "Outstanding Program/Event" for our Veg Week 2007, a category reserved for the student group that has best demonstrated their efforts in planning and executing a program and/or event. In light of the over 702 registered student organizations, this is quite a feat!

Without all the wonderful support from our volunteers and donors, this would not have happened. Thank you!

Spring Veg Potluck

On Saturday, May 3rd, CAA will host our annual Spring Veg Potluck! Bring a vegan or vegetarian dish or drink that serves approximately five to eight people, and be ready to enjoy some delicious food with lots of fun people!

Dine-Out at Evergreen Chinese Restaurant

Join Compassionate Action for Animals for a dine-out on April 28th at Evergreen Chinese Restaurant. Evergreen offers excellent vegetarian and vegan dishes, from the spicy, colorful mixed vegetables with fried tofu, to the tender mock beef with broccoli or the mock chicken with black bean sauce. Spring - the time to come out of hibernation - is finally here, so come meet other CAA members and enjoy some incredible, authentic food.
