Their Lives, Our Voices - Just A Couple Weeks Away

Join activists from all across the region in a couple weeks at the Midwest's premiere animal advocacy conference, "Their Lives, Our Voices". This conference will take place in Minneapolis at the Hubert H. Humphrey Conference Center from Friday June 6th through Sunday, June 8th.

Registration, which includes four vegan meals plus snacks, is now $80 for the general public and $40 for students! No one will be turned down due to lack of funds! Please contact us at info@tlov.org if you'd like to attend but cannot afford the full rate.

Be sure to check out our jam-packed schedule with workshops on a wide-variety of topics. We have also confirmed pizza and the excellent J. Tyler O'Neill jazz trio which will be playing live music during the reception on Friday evening.

Vegetarianism All Over This Week!

Did you know that this week is "World Vegetarian Week"? Start off by ordering a free Vegetarian Starter Kit from CAA and check out some different ways to celebrate this week.

Also, this week brought more than 500 people together in New York City for the first Veggie Pride Parade in America. It was a thrilling day for activists, animals and vegan advocacy. The parade received much public attention including a write-up in The New York Times and many other news media.

Animal Rights 2008 Conference in Washington, DC

In addition to CAA's Their Lives, Our Voices conference, conisder joining animal rights leaders, activists and newcomers for the Animal Rights 2008 National Conference August 14-18, Washington DC
