CAA's Core Values

CAA is committed to using our time, energy, and funds to help animals in the most effective ways possible. CAA's Core Values, first articulated at our inception in 1998, describe our vision of building and sustaining a movement to help farm animals. For instance, the ethical value of nonviolence and the strategic value of setting a good vegan example guide all of our outreach efforts. These efforts have aided in breaking stereotypes of the "angry" and "unreasonable" animal advocate, and much of CAA's growth and success can be attributed to these values.

If you haven't seen them lately, check them out on our website.

Feature: Dealing With Non-Veg Family and Friends

It is not too uncommon for vegans and vegetarians to encounter resistance from family members who poke fun at us for not eating animals, yet are unwilling to even consider their plight seriously.

Read a variety of suggestions for dealing effectively with this contentious issue from Vegan Outreach supporters!
