Their Lives, Our Voices 2009 and Call for Speakers!

Join hundreds of others this summer at the Compassionate Action for Animals' second annual Their Lives, Our Voices conference!. The three day conference will take place in Minneapolis at the Hubert H. Humphrey Conference Center from Friday, June 12 through Sunday, June 14.

TLOV is an inclusive, high-quality, hands-on conference focused on empowering advocates in their efforts to help farmed animals. This event is accessible to all animal advocates, showcasing diverse topics and perspectives within our movement. Networking and attendee participation are vital to TLOV's success, so please come and help this exceptional event.

The early-bird price will be $15 for students and low-income individuals, and $30 for everyone else. Both rates will increase by $15 on Friday, May 22. This price includes four vegan meals, a goodie bag, and more!

Sixth Annual Veg Valentine's Potluck

Looking for a fun way to celebrate Valentine's Day? Want to taste some delicious veg food? Come to our veg potluck on Friday, February 6! Bring your sweetheart, a friend, or come solo. This is a great opportunity to meet other animal-friendly people, eat good food, and play some fun games. Although some food will be provided, this is a potluck, so be sure to bring a vegan dish/drink that serves five to eight people and, if possible, eating utensils!

Recipe: Vegan Ranch Dip

This thick ranch sauce works better as a delicious dip than as a dressing, though it could be thinned out with plain soymilk and served over salad. Just in time for Super Bowl Sunday!
