Informational Table at University of MN

In order to educate the community about animal issues and give community members a chance to learn more about what they can do to help, CAA volunteers regularly staff informational tables at Twin Cities colleges and universities, festivals, and other venues.

CAA's tabling program is an excellent outreach opportunity! By offering free literature, recipe booklets, advice, and fun stickers to the public, we make it easy for anyone interested to have access to a variety of helpful vegetarian and animal advocacy resources. Join our team of volunteer "tablers" and help make the Twin Cities a more animal and veg-friendly place! If you are interested in helping out with our tabling program, please e-mail Ben Kutschied (ben@ExploreVeg.org) with your schedule and preference for community and/or campus tabling opportunities. Even being able to staff our table one hour every couple of weeks can be very helpful!

On-Campus Planning Meeting

Want to get involved in our student group chapter? Have an idea you would like to share? Then join us on December 15th! Come to our on-campus planning meeting to hear about opportunities to get involved, or to share some ideas of your own. We hold planning meetings periodically to discuss current and proposed projects and events. If you want to get involved in a project or if you have an idea for one, join us at a meeting!

Some ideas that have already been suggested include another University Dining Services Veg Night, a Spring Speaker Event, and ways to make the CMU office more welcoming to students. Food and beverage will be provided by CAA, so show up hungry and ready to talk strategy!

Leaflet at the Mason Jennings Concert

Come pass out leaflets on animal cruelty, factory farming, and vegetarianism at the Mason Jennings concert!

Leafleting is a fun, effective, and easy form of outreach! Concert leafleting involves handing out brochures to attendees as a concert lets out. If you only have a little time to volunteer, this is a great way to help animals. Please send us an e-mail at info@exploreveg.org or give us a call if you are interested in helping with this effort or if you have more questions!
