Community Planning Meeting

Want to get involved in a project that helps animals? Have an idea you would like to share? Join CAA members at the upcoming community planning meeting. We hold community meetings monthly to discuss current and proposed projects and events.

Community planning meetings will be held at our new community office at 2100 1st Ave S in Minneapolis. If you take the driveway to the back of the building, there is free parking. We don't have a sign yet, so enter in the back where it says "Building Community Within."

Time: Jan 27, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Location: 2100 1st Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55404

U of M Spring Activities Fair

CAA will have an informational table at the University of MN Spring Activities Fair. The Student Activities Fairs are campus-wide programs for the University community to display University pride and spirit. These fairs are great opportunities for us to promote our student group chapter to hundreds of students.

CAA is registered to have an information table at the Spring 2010 Activities Fair on Feb. 2nd, and we need your help to staff it. Volunteers are needed from 9:15 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Time: Feb 02, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Location: CMU Great Hall, 300 Washington Ave SE, Mpls 55455

Leaflet at The Current's Fifth Birthday Party

Come pass out leaflets on animal cruelty, factory farming, and vegetarianism at The Current's Fifth Birthday Party concert. Leafleting is a fun, easy, and effective way to help the animals when you don't have a lot of time to volunteer.

Concert leafleting involves handing out brochures to attendees as a concert lets out. If you only have a little time to volunteer, this is a great way to help animals. Please send us an e-mail at info@exploreveg.org or give us a call if you are interested in helping with this effort or if you have more questions.

Time: Jan 29, 2010 from 11:00 p.m. until midnight Location: First Avenue, Downtown Minneapolis
