We'll be discussing The Compassionate Carnivore by Minnesota author Catherine Friend. In the book, she discusses her desire to be compassionate toward animals while still eating meat, and how she reconciles this dilemma. Be sure to jump in on this provocative book with your own perspectives and how the concepts in the book relate to animal rights and speciesism.
