Afton State Park, Sites 8 and 9
Join CAA as we head out to Afton State Park for a camping trip! We will be at backpack sites 8 and 9. Please be aware it’s a challenging (but short) hike to the campsite.
Registration costs $30. There will be endless amounts of fun with hiking, biking, games, and perhaps swimming. The low cost will include five vegan meals and the campsite fees. Some campers will bike to the campsite. We will leave from Minneapolis on the morning of May 30.

Suggested Supplies To Bring
- Sleeping bags and sleeping pad
- Flashlight
- Toiletries (tooth brush, floss, soap, towel, deodorant, etc)
- Sun lotion, insect repellent, hat, sunglasses
- Helmet, lights, bike lock, and food to eat while biking (bikers)
- Swimsuit/towel
- Rain coat/pants
- Outdoor shoes/ sandals
- Snacks you just can’t go without
- Games
- Water bottle
- Change of clothes
