What: Vegan After Dark is a social gathering just for kicks. On the last Friday or Saturday of every month, veg-friendly folks meet at various locations in the twin cities for cocktails, small bites, and adventures in socializing. You don't have to be vegan to hang... you only have to be up for a good time!
Don't think fish is that delish? Me neither. It's a good thing that this menu is packed with tasty vegan treats that are all flounder free! Like it sweet? Try the sweet and oh-so-sesame Spinach Gomae. Totally into tofu? Ask for the tofu-tastic Atsuagae, lightly fried soft tofu with sauted shitake mushroom sauce. Or chill out with the Cold Tofu, chilled soft tofu with scallions and a sweet sesame dressing.Like to keep it simple? Try sauted Bok Choy, Green Beans, or Asparagus. That's just the beginning! Create you own rolls or try one off the menu. Asparavado, kappa, Oshinko, Kanypo.... Inari Nigiri (deep fried tofu skin) is a gingery must! Thirsty? Sushi Tango also has tantilizing cocktails, ice-cold Sapporo, and sake sake sake!
