Sake, sake, sake! Moto-i is the first sake brewery restaurant outside of Japan. Junmai nama sake is a good place to start. The taste is smooth, delicate, and refreshing with a subtle hint of honeydew melon. Don't like your sake straight up? Try one of the many inventive sake specialty drinks! The Ginger Martini made with fresh ginger and the Good Luck Cocktail combining sake, and fresh berry puree with lemonade and mint are outstanding. Moto-i also has a solid wine and beer menu.
Their late night happy hour begins at 10 pm, so if your'e up for an evening of 3.50 tap beer, 1/2 off sake, 3.50 house wine and lots of good grub including- Miso, fried tofu lettuce wraps, pear salad and fried shishito peppers Moto I after dark is the place to be on Oct.5th! Let's all enjoy ourselves together at this lovely restaurant and bar located in Uptown.
