Michael Foods debeaks all of the hens at their LeSueur egg factory. This painful mutilation causes long and short term suffering. Many of the hens, like the one pictured here, suffer from beak neuromas -- painful blisters on the ends of their beaks that result from their severed nerve trying to regenerate itself.
