Event Descriptions:

Peaceable Kingdom Showing – Peaceable Kingdom is a movie about personal commitment, healing and hope. The movie explores the human-animal bond and speaks to the potential for goodness in each of us, offering a life-changing vision of a peaceful world that is well within our reach. After the documentary, we will be joined by Harold Brown, a former farmer featured in the film, for a Q&A session and a catered reception.

Veg Cooking Demo and Games – Want to learn how to make delicious and simple vegan food? Come watch our own chef extraordinaire, Sam Ero-Phillips, demonstrate how to make mouth-watering vegetarian specialties. All the food will be vegan, easy to make, and, most importantly, absolutely delicious! If you like food, this is not an event to miss!

Vegetarian Potluck – What better way to end Veg Week than with vegetarian potluck? While some food will be provided, everyone is encouraged to bring a vegetarian or vegan dish to share. After the potluck, Harold Brown will speak on his transition from being a family farmer to an animal advocate.
