Fund Raising Coordinator
Position Description and Objectives
Compassionate Action for Animals' (CAA) fund raising committee cultivates individual and institutional donors and raises funds to implement our work. This position coordinates the fund raising committee by organizing and facilitating meetings, tracking progress on fund raising projects, and reminding volunteers of their duties. The fund raising coordinator coordinates the successful fund raising activities of Compassionate Action for Animals.

- Educate donors, volunteers, and public about the important work of advocating for farm animals that CAA does
- Raise funds to help advocate for farm animals
- Provide the opportunity for donors to participate in animal protection
- Make it possible for staff and volunteers to carry out our work
Responsibilities
- Organize meetings once or twice month. Identify dates, times, and location
- Create agendas for meetings and ensure that minutes are recorded, put on the wiki, and sent out
- Remind volunteers of tasks they have committed to between meetings
- Occasionally attend and volunteer at organizational events to be familiar with our work
- Organize and execute fund raising mailings
Time Commitment and Evaluation
- This position starts on March 1, 2011 and ends on August 31, 2011.
- This position is for 3-5 hours/week (this may be negotiable). Additional time is at your discretion.
- Your performance review will occur by May 30, 2011.
- Your supervisor will be the Development Coordinator, Unny Nambudiripad
