Campaign Victory: Hamline Phases Out Battery Eggs
After working with volunteers of Compassionate Action for Animals (CAA), St. Paul-based Hamline University has implemented a cage-free egg policy for all of the liquid eggs—the majority of the eggs it uses for its students.
CAA volunteer and senior at Hamline, Amy O'Malley states "The Hamline community cares deeply about social responsibility, which is why we're proud of our dining services' decision to remove support for the cruel practice of confining hens in battery cages.”
