Roving Dish - Vegan food on wheels! This nomadic eatery offers a 100% vegan and gluten-free menu featuring teff pancakes, as well as a teff-based fried fritter made with different vegetable fillings. Roving Dish will be at the NE Minneapolis farmers market Saturday mornings June - October. They are also available for catering and cooking classes.
Dosa King - Pure Indian vegetarian restaurant. Aside from dosas (crispy lentil crepes filled with potatoes, onions and spices), this restaurant also serves North Indian thalis (combo platters) and Indian snack foods. Their menu also features rare dishes such as uppma, pongol and avial, which are extremely difficult to find almost anywhere in the US
Infinitea - A loose leaf tea house conveniently located in Uptown, Minneapolis. Infinitea offers unusual vegetarian salads and over 200 different kinds of loose leaf teas with organic and fair-trade options. The shop also holds weekly tea educational sessions led by experts for $10, featuring samples and histories of various types of tea.
