Vegetarian/Vegan Stories Needed
In an effort to provide a resource for parents whose children have decided to be vegan or vegetarian, Action for Animals is collecting stories from parents and youth throughout the world about their experiences dealing with this transition.
In an effort to provide a resource for parents whose children have decided to be vegan or vegetarian, Action for Animals is collecting stories from parents and youth throughout the world about their experiences dealing with this transition.
The stories can be on any topic surrounding child/parent interactions related to making a transition to vegetarian or veganism. Examples include the child telling the parents he/she wants to be vegan, children and parents cooking vegan meals together, or dealing with a family barbecue, a holiday experience…any touching, funny, entertaining, or informative story that you’d like to share.
If your story mentions a favorite food that you make, please include the recipe. All recipes must be vegan.
Stories can be from the parents or the children (even if you’re not a child anymore) and should be written in the first person (I, me, we, etc.). Length can be 100-1,000 words.
Please send your stories (or any questions) to amanda@afa-online.org. Also include your name, age, city/state/country, and the age that you/your child became vegetarian or vegan.
