Volunteer of the Month: Our Yard Sale Coordinator

When Adrianne first contacted CAA for assistance on planning a Peaceable Kingdom showing at a local college, her enthusiasm and determination was immediately apparent. After a successful film showing during her last semester of school, she continued her activism by volunteering to staff informational tables, distribute leaflets at concerts, and photograph CAA events.

Despite working full time, Adrianne took initiative last month by helping to organize the recent yard sale. By working with over forty donors to coordinate drop-offs and pickups and by finding volunteers to staff both days of the sale, she ensured that the event was a success. As a result of her hard work, we raised over $1,500 for CAA's work on behalf of farm animals.

Adrianne is a wonderful example of the difference one dedicated individual can make in addressing the animals' plight. You do not need to be a student to volunteer; even if you work full time, please consider helping out with CAA today!
