Volunteer of the Month: Dani Reese

Dani Reese is CAA's July Volunteer of the Month!

Dani Reese is one of the most active members of Compassionate Action for Animals. In addition to coordinating CAA's Leafleting Program, Dani attends and volunteers at various events, lends her artistic skills for design projects, and helps organize large happenings like our upcoming Veg Month celebration.

Dani moved to Minnesota from Ohio at the age of ten and went to high school in Albertville. She has spent the past two years living in Minneapolis and attending the College of Visual Arts in St. Paul where she plans to graduate with a BFA in Illustration. Dani hopes to continue doing freelance art and illustrative work for organizations that she identifies with.

Dani became involved with CAA after searching for an organization that has values in common with her own. A life long animal-lover, Dani says that eating meat never "sat right" with her. "As a child I instantly felt a connection with animals and saw their lives just as important as our own - suffering is suffering." Her favorite part about volunteering with CAA is meeting and working with others who feel the same way that she does about animal rights.

We are extremely lucky to have volunteers like Dani Reese advocating for farm animals! If you are interested in volunteering with CAA, please complete our online volunteer application.
