Join other hungry folks and sample local, homemade vegan chili recipes at our 11th Annual Vegan Chili Cook-Off. We promise you’ll leave feeling warmer than when you arrived! Tickets are on sale here or will be available for a higher price at the door.
Those who are part of our Circle of Care, donors who give on a monthly basis, get to come for free along with three guests and support our year-round work for animals! Click the donate button on the right to join and we’ll be in touch with your tickets.
Bring friends and spend the evening sampling tasty, homemade vegan chili. Everyone is welcome, and it’s a great way to introduce omnivores to delicious vegan food! The chili goes fast, so be sure to arrive right at 6 for the best selection. Use #VeganChiliMpls when you share about the event on social media! You can invite friends using Facebook .
This year, the event will be held on February 8 in the spacious great hall of Coffman Union. The hall is ADA accessible, and there is ample paid parking in the East River Road Garage. Sign language interpretation will be provided for the awards ceremony.
Think you have what it takes to compete in the cook-off? Bring a batch of your vegan chili and get ready for some competition! Cool prizes (including cash!) are to be won. Check out our registration page for more contestant details and to sign up.
This year, we’ll have an improved rating system. Attendees will rate the chili using their phones or our tablets. This will help us have more categories and make the process better for all involved. We’ll do test runs and have a series of tests to ensure reliability before the actual event.
