Want tasty plant-based meals that nourish your body and work with your life? Join us for an engaging presentation by dietitian Lauren Plunkett on affordable, healthy vegan eating. After the presentation, we’ll make a flavorful, easy dish with cannellini beans, and sample it together.

What will Happen at the Event?

At this event, you’ll: 

  • Learn how to create well-rounded plant-based meals and receive practical tips from an expert.
  • Gain confidence in meeting all of your nutritional needs without animal products.
  • Get answers to your questions in an open Q&A session.
  • Make and sample a delicious, nutritious bean dish together.

Who is the Presenter?

Lauren Plunkett, RDN, LDN, CDCES, is a registered dietitian, certified diabetes care & education specialist, global health educator, and speaker. She is the author of the award-winning book, Type One Determination, her story about coming of age with Type 1 Diabetes, and a guide – complete with a nutrition and exercise protocol – for living a healthy, athletic life.
