Join CAA’s Tamuno Imbu for this fun, online cooking class. One-Pot Creamy Pasta is one of those dishes that gives you the experience of a dairy-based pasta sauce, but it’s 100% plant-based!
Tamuno says, “When you think of creamy, usually you think of dairy, but this non-dairy dish from the Yup.. it’s vegan food blog will change your mind. And, you can feed a family even on a busy work day because it takes one hour or less to prepare.”

Class registration is $5 or free for students and people who are unemployed. The class will take place via Zoom and login instructions will be provided after registration.
If you want to cook along with Tamuno during the class, you’ll need these ingredients:
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 shallot finely chopped
- 2 cups low-sodium vegetable broth
- 1 and 1/2 cups plain, unsweetened non-dairy milk
- 1 tsp salt plus more to taste (reduce if using a salty broth)
- 8 oz dry fettuccine
- black pepper, dried oregano and red pepper flakes to taste
- chopped fresh basil or parsley for serving
