CAA Community Space
Having fun while helping animals is what CAA is all about. This laughter yoga event will enable you to have fun with fellow advocates while supporting our year-round work!
Led by experienced laughter yoga practitioner and CAA board member Theresa Zingery, this class requires no previous experience. Register today! The class is limited to 20 participants.
You will be standing for most of the time so wear comfy shoes! (If you need to sit, that’s perfectly fine.) You don’t need to be in exercise clothes, but something comfortable would be good. We will move around doing semi-goofy, playful things and doing breathing exercises.
To begin the class, Theresa will briefly explain the benefits of laughter and the process. Then, Theresa will suggest goofy things to do, and you’ll mingle and interact with each other while doing them. This activity will alternate with some individual semi-goofy breathing exercises. Afterwards, you’ll probably feel very energized and a bit tired from all the belly laughs!
Attendees will be invited to go out to eat together afterwards at a nearby spot (to be determined).
