8:30pm - 10:30pm
Join us to march in the at the Aquatennial Parade, beginning at the Minneapolis Convention Center down 2nd Avenue to 3rd Street. We will meet on 2nd Ave at the wolf statue across from the Convention Center at 6:15 pm. Afterward, we’ll go out for food and drink at the Downtown Minneapolis Pizza Luce!
We need folks to wear the cow and pig costumes, and others to pass out vegetarian starter guides and information about Twin Cities Veg Fest!
A waiver is required to march in the parade. We will provide paper copies the day-of to fill out or you can click this link to sign beforehand (https://mplsdowntowncouncil1.volunteerlocal.com/volunteer/?start_over&id=36993)
Sign up here for this and other summer leafleting events. We’ll contact you and share phone numbers to be sure it’s easy to reach each other on the day-of.
Leafleting is an excellent way to advocate for animals. We reach many people in a short time and have inspiring conversations along the way. It’s also a great way to get to know others who are passionate about ending animal suffering.
No prior experience is required. If you haven’t taken our training for effective leafleting, we encourage you to watch this video.
