Cooking Class: Pineapple Fried Rice with Tamuno Imbu

Need something sweet and savory to spark the summer vibes? This recipe will win over your guests with the presentation, affordability, and variations of this dish that keeps it fresh for summers to come.

Tune in as we prepare together and serve up a flavorful dish inside of a whole pineapple. Craft your style of cooking with this creative concoction. This dish can stand out on its own or be a serious side dish with an array of summer vegan must-haves.

In this explosive hour-long class, you’ll find your inspiration in cooking with Tamuno. If you enjoy piquing the palette of your friends and family, this pineapple dish will surely leave a lasting impression!

You’ll need to pre-purchase these ingredients:

  • 1/2 Hollowed out pineapple cut lengthwise
  • 2 tsp Vegan butter
  • 1 cup Mixed vegetables peas, carrots, corn, and/or broccoli
  • 4 ears Baby corn chopped
  • 1/3 cup Firm tofu diced
  • 1/3 cup Pineapple cut into chunks
  • 1/4 cup Cashews
  • 2 cups Steamed rice
  • 2 Spring onions chopped into 1/2 cm long pieces
  • 1 Tbsp Mushroom powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Pepper seasoned to your preference
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Thai seasoning sauce or soy sauce adjust according to your preference
  • A handful of raisins for garnishing
  • A sprinkle of sesame seeds for garnishing

You can get canned pineapples if you cannot find whole pineapples.
