The Howe Daily Kitchen & Bar
Join CAA at The Howe Daily Kitchen & Bar, a restaurant with a dog-friendly patio, for a dine-out to enjoy and vote on their entry to the Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge! (Reserve your spot here.)
The Challenge
The challenge runs during the month of August. Competing restaurants add or highlight vegan menu items, and diners vote to determine who has the best vegan food in the Twin Cities. See the full list of participating restaurants, and find the voting form, here. Be sure to tag @tcveganchefchallenge in your posts for a chance to enter to win restaurant gift cards!
The Food
We are excited that The Howe is adding a vegan main dish for the challenge: the Spicy BBQ Cauliflower Rice Bowl. This bowl features a delightful combination of tender cauliflower rice, shredded carrots, crisp lettuce, creamy avocado, zesty red onion, and refreshing cucumber. The dish is made without gluten.
Other dishes available at the dine-out include ceviche, hot chikn, salad, buffalo cauliflower wings, a customizable burger, the Phoebe beet-cheez-sauerkraut sandwich, and chocolate cake.
More Info
The Howe is located on Minnehaha Ave near the Longfellow and Standish neighborhoods, at 3675 Minnehaha Ave, Minneapolis 55406. Look for the blue “Compassionate Action for Animals” sign to find the dine-out table. Each diner purchases their own food. Reserve your spot on EventBrite to ensure we have an accurate headcount and can all be seated. Come enjoy the food, whether you’re exploring plant-based eating options, vegetarian, vegan, or just curious! (All food purchased during the dine-out event should be vegan — thanks!)
Weather permitting, we will eat on the patio, and well-behaved, leashed, non-dog-reactive dogs are welcome to join.
