Are you interested in helping to plan the next Twin Cities Veg Fest? Attend this informational session to learn more!
Twin Cities Veg Fest is Compassionate Action for Animals’ biggest event of the year, with more than 7,000 people attending in 2017. During the event, we showcase the best vegan food along with exhibitors, speakers, and cooking demonstrations.
The festival is planned by a committee of approximately fifteen people. Committee members recruit sponsors and exhibitors, advertise the event, coordinate day-of volunteers, and much more. Subcommittee members assist them in these tasks.
If you are interested in joining this committee, come to this orientation session and get all of your questions answered. There will be a presentation by Committee Chair Nathan Gaut, and you will get to do all the following:
- Discover the benefits of joining the committee
- Learn about the skills required for committee and subcommittee members
- Meet other potential committee members
- Enjoy refreshments
You don’t have to commit to joining the committee to come to this session.
To RSVP, email Nathan Gaut at [email protected]. Let us know if you have prior event planning experience and send a resume if you have one.
You can also invite your friends using the Facebook event page.
Please also check out the committee positions and visit our website on how to plan a veg fest to get a better understanding of what’s involved in being on the committee.
