Are you volunteering for Twin Cities Veg Fest? If so, you are welcome to join us for this volunteer orientation. The orientation will cover the how-to’s of all volunteers duties except for setup and cleanup, which do not require advance training. If you are only helping with setup and cleanup, you do not need to attend the orientation. All other new volunteers are encouraged to participate.
At the orientation, you will:
- Meet other volunteers and the volunteer leaders
- Get t-shirts (if we have them printed by that time)
- Learn about:
- Transportation to the venue
- The layout of the venue, including bathroom locations
- The schedule of festival activities (speakers, cooking demos, kids area)
- The general mission of the festival
- Get training in customer service fundamentals
If you haven’t signed up to volunteer at the festival yet, please do so soon!
We will meet outside the Great Hall on the ground floor at Coffman Memorial Union at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
