Goal for Graphic Design Student Coordinator
To create visual materials that increase public engagement with CAA programs, including event participation, volunteer recruitment, and donor support.
Duties
- Create visual materials throughout the 2018-2019 school year using our style guide
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to create materials
- Use copy provided by staff
- Participate in an editing process led by the Communications and Events Coordinator
- Approximately 5 to 7 hours per week
- Materials will likely include:
- A new banner for the organization to carry in parades and post at events
- Flag banners advertising our video outreach program
- A year-end fundraising appeal letter and matching envelope
- Donor appreciation party invitations
- Annual banquet invitation and program
- A new Facebook cover image for the CAA student volunteers page
- T-shirt, stickers, magnets, and other promotional items
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to create materials
Depending on skill level and interest there may be the opportunity to work on our annual report and the annual 12-page magazine.
Skills required
- Adobe Illustrator
- Demonstrated skill creating materials similar to those listed above
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to respond positively to editorial feedback
- Ability to use an online project management system and other online tools
- Interest in our mission
