Join us for an afternoon of games, fun, and socializing to benefit the animals and our community!

Compassionate Action for Animals is hosting its first bags/cornhole tournament on June 4! As you engage in some friendly competition with fellow animal lovers, you can enjoy the world-class cider of Sociable Cider Werks and dig into plant-based burgers from the Francis food truck on site.

Date: June 4, 2022

Time: 12:00 – 3:00pm

Location: Sociable Cider Werks 1500 Fillmore St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413

First, second, and third place winning teams will earn exciting prizes, including gift cards to Sociable Cider Werks, Francis, medals, and bragging rights, of course!

You can team up with a friend when you register in advance, or sign up on your own, and we’ll pair you with a teammate. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of two games in the tournament.

The cost to participate is $59 per two-person team. In addition to tournament play and a chance at fun prizes, you’ll get a free drink and a Twin Cities Veg Fest tote or t-shirt. (If you’d like to participate as an individual, please contact info@exploreveg.org and we can accommodate your request.)

Not into bags? You can still support the animals by joining as a spectator! Attendee tickets are just $15 and include a free drink ticket and Twin Cities Veg Fest tote or t-shirt.

Plus, everyone who attends will have an opportunity to purchase tickets to a raffle with a cash prize. (Feelin’ lucky?)

All are welcome to participate. No previous bags experience or prior involvement with Compassionate Action for Animals is necessary. Everyone will receive a set of rules before game play begins.

Thank you for supporting our work for animals and our community. Your generosity helps increase the number of individuals and institutions choosing plant-based foods, strengthens food justice in our community, and spreads compassion for animal

We’re excited to see you at the event!
