Why Advocate on Campuses?
Historically, universities have been at the center of many social justice movements. There is a reason for this. Campuses are a place where students encounter new ideas and perspectives on the world during one of the most influential periods of their lives. These students become leaders of industries, governments, and communities. Without an active presence on campuses, we neglect these future leaders, failing as a movement. That is why it is critical to be involved as a student and to support students in their efforts to advocate on campus.
