Cooking Class: Fried Cauliflower Wings with Tamuno Imbu

Join us for this fun online cooking class! CAA’s Tamuno Imbu will show you how easy it is to make delicious fried cauliflower wings.

Fried cauliflower wings are a wonderful transition food for those who are new to the plant-based lifestyle, and they’re great for those who have enjoyed flavorful foods for some time. They’re perfect for the kids and adults who love to have finger food for sports gatherings, and you can add dipping sauces such as barbecue, buffalo or even a vegan ranch.

In this class, you’ll be introduced to this dish that is fairly easy to make, from ingredients that are easy to find in your local grocery store. Be sure to bring your your love for wings. This recipe is one you’ll want to pull out for game days!

Class registration is $5.00 or free for students and people who are unemployed. The class will take place via Zoom and login instructions will be provided after registration.



You’ll need to pre-purchase or have on hand these ingredients:

  • 24 oz olive oil or grape seed oil
  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 1 cup of spelt flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 cup of almond or non-dairy milk
  • 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1 cup of any favorite batter mix (Tamuno likes Shore Lunch)
