Entertainment

Mistress Ginger

Mistress Ginger is your typical quadruple-threat diva: singer, dancer, actress, and vegan know-it-all. Since 2006, her high kicks and musical licks have been featured at various venues throughout the Twin Cities and beyond, from the Bryant-Lake Bowl Theater to the Ordway Center for Performing Arts. She’s presented more than two dozen jazz-pop cabaret shows and shared the stage with such musical artists as Rick Carlson, Lori Dokken, and George Maurer. Her vegan cookbook, Mistress Ginger Cooks!: Everyday Vegan Food for Everyone, was published in 2014 and wowed the critics with its high-heeled brand of plant-based cookery. Find it on Amazon or get autographed copies from the Mistress herself at mistressgingercooks.com.

For the Twin Cities Veg Fest after-party, Ginger and her band are serving up the songs of the pop-rock goddesses you know and love. Think Stevie Nicks, Annie Lennox, Cyndi Lauper and more. With Franco Holder on keys, Jenny Case on bass, and Dustin Jensen on drums.

Mary Bue

Mary Bue is an indie singer-songwriter,  owner of Imbue Yoga Studio, and vegan based in Minneapolis.   A prolific songwriter with 7 albums, Mary’s music touches upon archetypal themes of the human condition:  love, loss, dreams, and deep concern for the environment mixed into her sometimes crass, real-world hue.

DJ Wagz
