With the end of summer approaching, here’s one last “vegan hack” that is a perfect fit for BBQ season: BBQ Vegan Pulled Pork Burger. This burger will be a hit with everyone whether you try it as just a break from eating animal products, for transitioning, or as part of a full fledged plant-based lifestyle. In this online cooking class we will take a mushroom, shred it, roast it, and smoother it with some delicious sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. Next we will add vegan slaw and maybe some pickles. We’re talkin’ about an amazing tasty burger!

- 9 oz King oyster mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp Vegetable oil
- ½ tsp Sweet smoked paprika powder
- 1 tsp Oregano
- ½ tsp Cumin
- ½ tsp Onion powder
- ½ tsp Garlic powder
- ½ tsp Salt
- ⅛ tsp Black pepper
- ⅓ cup Vegan BBQ sauce
Spicy Mayo
- ½ cup Mayo (I used vegan)
- 1 tsp Sriracha (or any other chili paste)
- ½ tsp Sesame oil
