Our next bigger event in need of more volunteers is the Annual Banquet coming up on April 9. Can you lend a hand at this important fundraiser? There are a variety of positions that need to be filled. Contact Unny if you’d like to sign up or to get more information.

Speaking of fundraisers, consider joining our Fundraising Committee. Volunteer Hannah Patzer recently joined and had this to say: “I understand that without fundraising you can’t have a nonprofit. It’s an integral part of CAA, and it’s fun to see the inner workings. I like being around people who are bouncing ideas off each other. • 2016 Annual Banquet and Reception
  • Saturday, April 9 at The Wellstone Center, 179 Robie Street East in St. Paul
  • The event is scheduled from 5:30 to 9:00pm, but volunteers are needed at various times, from 2:30 to 11:00pm. Available positions include setup, registration, food preparation, cleanup, and more. Check out this list to see what appeals to you.

• Pay-Per-View at the 2016 MayDay Festival
  • Sunday, May 1, 11:30am – 5:00pm at Powderhorn Park in Minneapolis.
  • Take action for animals! Help us with tabling at the MayDay Festival at Powderhorn Park in Minneapolis. We’ll be paying people one dollar to watch a five-minute video about factory farming.
